Background
Dr Indee Poddalgoda is a Specialist General Practitioner and has been practicing medicine since 2008, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2019.
Dr Indee worked in Darwin for several years prior to commencing her specialist training in general practice. She has hospital experience in general medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, cardiology, emergency medicine, paediatrics, psychiatry, obstetrics, gynaecology, and oncology.
Dr Indee obtained a Diploma in Child Health from The University of Sydney and has completed further training in women’s health gaining a Certificate in Women’s Health from Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). Dr Indee is certified for IUD/Implanon insertion and is accredited as a shared antenatal care provider with Mater Hospital.
Dr Indee has a passion for teaching and educating young doctors and medical students. Prior to moving to Brisbane, she was involved as a GP Supervisor with Northern Territory General Practice Education.
